In this lesson we explored how to create sweat, fever. pallor and tears.
Class notes:
Glycerine = creates fake sweat and can be applied with a stipple sponge
Can also be used for fake tears - from the corner of the eye, not in it!!!
Eye drops can be used also
Top tips for men:
- cover spots and blemishes
- keep the guys looking matte, matte primer down the t zone
- clean whole face off and add blotches of top of raw skin
Tired = blue and brown
Fever = more red
Wet look gel or water spray is good for hair
Dry lips = eyelash glue or latex
My attempt
I think I succeeded in making my model look like she has a fever. I practiced a black eye before which is why she has one in these images. I started off by stippling a red/pink from the kryolan supracolour palette on to my models face. Focusing on the cheek bones, the nose and the forehead. I added brown and darker red tones on top to create more natural looking tones instead of just having a slight tint of red to her skin. I added glycerine on to her fore head and nose with a stipple sponge to create sweat.
For the black eye i used the charles fox bruise wheel (kryolan) and used a small eyeshadow brush to apply it and then blended it in using a small concealer brush both from zoeva. The colours in the black eye were perfect but i feel as though i applied too much around the eye and should have focused on the eye socket more the the lid and cheek.
Products/Tools used:

- glycerine
- stipple sponge
- zoeva stippling brush
