INSTRUCTIONS

We started off by choosing a mould. The moulds were made by melting gelatine, pouring it into a mould and let them set. Once dried, the moulds were covered with talcom powder so they didn't stick together. We used prosade glue to stick on the moulds. We applied glue directly to the skin and on the back of the mould and waited for it to go clear before sticking the mould on. I applied pressure to the mould when sticking it to the arm to make sure it stuck properly. Once stuck, I used witch hazel to get rid of any hard edges and to make the mould smooth into the skin. I powdered over the top of the mould using translucent powder from illamasqua to get rid of any shine and stickiness. Next I applied red, pink, yellow and black supracolour to make the wound more realistic and sore. The next thing I did was apply wound filler in the centre of the wound and then finally added blood to make it extra realistic. Finally I just adddd a bit more supracolour round the edges of the wound just to give texture. To remove we used proclean and scraped the wound off.
