WHO IS YOUR CHARACTER?

BACKGROUND: My character is Jekyll/Hyde from the novel 'Strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' written by Robert Louis Stevenson, published in 1889.

STORY: The story is about a Doctor called Henry Jekyll who creates a potion which allows him to separate his good side from his bad, creating a second personality called Mr Edward Hyde. Hyde (the darker side) becomes too strong for Jekyll to handle so he ends up killing himself and Hyde in the process.

PERSONALITY & CHARACTERISTICS: Jekyll - charming, sociable, friendly, funny, a mask of sanity, respected doctor, well established in the community, decency, charitable.
Hyde - malicious nature, bad intentions, domineering, deceptive, manipulative, cold-hearted, strange, looks faintly pre-human, violent, cruel, ugly, deformed.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

WHO IS IT AIMED AT: I would say Jekyll & Hyde is aimed at a more mature audience. Those who understand the illness of a split personality and those who enjoy gothic horror and mystery. 

COLOUR: Black and White

GOALS: I want to recreate this character to look more like the Dr Jekyll side but as he is starting to become Hyde. So I want him to look aged and unwell.
